Try it simply wash well with diluted vinegar. Rinse thoroughly with water and not with other chemicals.

EDIT: I do not know why they use baking soda, but not ProBaby can damage when the tank a little bit in. Some people use to increase the pH of the water

What I would do, the user is asked for the Ornament on eBay, has had been through, in fresh or salt water were collected ammonia in the tank or used to have a bacteria or deserts in the tank, while U use it? U could soak in bleach, but you wash them thoroughly before going into the tank, if it still smells, throw it out then, but first you need a large enough containor submitted it overnight with bleach and rinse ND 4 minutes and then when they should be disposed of and it feels even to a local pet shop and go get better. Personally, I think you should not be honest if not always buy everything related to fish on eBay, they just want your money. Good luck in your tank fishii: D

You need to cook the ornament to the use of soda. If you have left only a small amount of soda in it, the tank is contaminated.

I recommend getting used to it, it will only take effect once it anyway in the water.

It is likely to be used, or has had an odor Rinse us a very mild solution of bleach and then a good one to go then make sure that the end, unfortunately, no smell of chlorine.
