Vented Gas Stoves Can I Use An Old Wall Stove Vent For My Gas Dryer?

Can I use an old wall stove vent for my gas dryer? - vented gas stoves

In my house, was once one of the old stoves / ovens, have the exhaust / vent pipe through the wall (I guess) in the fireplace, I have a gas stove, and I almost put my current kitchen with a separator in the gas line . I use the old wall to vent my dryer vent? Perhaps if I half or a lint filter with him?

It seems a safe connection of gas ventilation. I suggest that the owner of a professional installer to obtain these settings, type!

No, you can not ventilate dryer (gas or electric) in a chimney. And never put a sock or something over the end of the dryer. They should be evacuated directly outside.
