Divulging HIV status to apartment roommates? - quad for hiv
I saw a quad, "a" (a four-room apartment, as they) it contains a kitchen, and we knew that one of my colleagues are positive quad for some time. Today I received a call from the manager asked me if I knew about his positive status - apparently told the director of one or two days. It seems that the manager's intention to provide information to the other two co-quad might spread. What are the legal rules for the disclosure of this information? Under what circumstances a person with HIV or hepatitis C should be disclosed?

His roommate's HIV status is protected by federal law. Nobody has the right to such information without your consent to disclose. It is illegal to discriminate against a person in the home and work on HIV status. You may report your landlord that we understand your concerns, but you have to open themselves to share the liability for the disclosure of this information to others.
